Terms of Service

Welcome to Featured. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of befeatured.app (the "Platform"), operated by Leif De Boni & Eric Schroter, based in Zürich, Switzerland ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Featured.

Featured is a platform that helps upcoming music artists find collaborators, connect, and work together on music projects through shared project rooms ("Studio"), including file sharing, deadlines, and feedback tools.

Featured is currently in an early testing phase. Features, availability, and functionality may change, break, or be removed without notice as we continue building.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Featured. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You may not create an account using false information or impersonate another person or artist.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of any music, files, or content you upload to Featured ("Your Content").

By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Platform (e.g. showing it on your profile, sharing it with collaborators in a project room).

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and share Your Content, and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else's copyright or other rights.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we are not responsible for disputes between users regarding authorship, credit, or ownership of collaborative work created through the Platform. Any agreements about credit, royalty splits, or ownership between collaborators are solely between those users.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit
• Use the Platform to spam, scrape, or harvest data from other users
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Platform's security or functionality
• Use the Platform for any purpose other than genuine music collaboration and networking
• Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

Featured provides tools to help artists connect and collaborate, but we are not a party to any collaboration, agreement, or arrangement between users. We do not guarantee that collaborations will be successful, completed, or dispute-free. Any agreements about credits, royalties, ownership splits, or usage rights between collaborating artists are the sole responsibility of those artists.

Featured is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, especially during this early testing phase. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Featured and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of content, or issues arising from collaborations between users.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of Featured after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
